Dr. Carl N. Toney is a professor of New Testament and chair of the Graduate Ministry program at Hope International University. He earned his Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago. He is the author of several books including New Testament Foundations: An Introduction for Students, 2 Corinthians Cornerstone Bible Commentary, and Paul’s Inclusive Ethic. Current projects include writing a commentary on Matthew’s Gospel. Currently, he serves as the vice president for the Society of Biblical Literature Pacific Coast Region.
